He is set to begin his service soon.
Through a statement on Tuesday, July 28, Korean management company 143 Entertainment announced details regarding the upcoming milienlistment of iKON member Koo Junhoe, also known by his mononym Ju-ne.
They noted that the K-pop star will be officially conscripted on August 11 (Tuesday) and will take the five-week training program fore recruits before being deployed as an active duty soldier.
In Korean, the label requested fans to not visit the enlistment site. “As the day of enlistment is a time when many other soldiers and their families will be present, we will not be holding any separate official events to prevent safety incidents,” it also said.
Lastly, “We ask for your unwavering love and warm support until the day Junhoe faithfully completes his military service and returns in good health. Thank you.“
June, who is currently 29 years old, is the last member of the band to enlist in the military, with DK also in the middle of fulfilling his service.
iKON is composed of six members and is known for their songs like the massive 2018 hit Love Scenario, Killing Me, and Rhthym Ta, among many others.
Last July 5, the other members — Jay, Song, Bobby, and Chan — brought their Fourever concert tour to Manila.
