Dates have been confirmed for their conscription.
On Monday, July 27, Korean management company Pledis Entertainment announced tje dates for the nearing enlistment in the mandatory military service of SEVENTEEN members DK and Vernon.
According to the company, the latter will go first, with his scheduled enlistment on August 20, with the former set to serve in active duty in the Army on September 8.
The company also noted that both stars will continue to participate in all official activities prior to their enlistment.
However, due to numerous enlistees and their families expected to be present at the enlistment ceremony, they requested fans to refrain from visiting the site in person on the said dates.
“Once DK and Vernon begin their military service, they will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN activities. However, they will continue to connect with CARAT through a variety of content prepared in advance,” Pledis further noted, as they also requested fans to send their messages to the members through Weverse.
The company also expressed, “We ask for your continued love and support for DK and Vernon until they complete their military service and return in good health.”
With this news, DK and Vernon are set to be the next members to enlist in the military. Jeonghan was the first one to do so in 2024 and completed his service last June.
At present, also completing their respective service terms are the Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi, who all entered in separate dates in 2025.
Meanwhile, also expected to enlist soon are Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino. Although, the exact dates have not yet been disclosed.
SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 and went on to release multiple hit tracks like Pretty U, Aju Nice, Don’t Wanna Cry, Clap, Oh My, Home, Hit, Fear, Left and Right, Home; Run, Ready To Love, Hot, and Super, among others.
Recently, they announced a three-year-long hiatus from group activities in light of the said military service enlistment of members. In addition, all 13 members have also renewed their contract with Pledis.
