It will be his first concert in the country as a solo act.
In a poster uploaded last Monday, July 20, Young K, a member of the Korean band Day6, announced the staging of his solo tour entitled Youngest.
The multi-city tour is set to kick off with a three-day event at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea this August and will continue with shows in Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur through next year.
Also confirmed in the same poster is Manila, where the 32-year-old musician is set to hold a show at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on February 20, 2027.
At present, relevant details such as the ticket prices, seat map, and more, are yet to be revealed.
While Youngest will be his first time to solo-headline a show in the country, it will mark Young K’s return to Manila after performing with the rest of Day6 for their 10th anniversary concert, The Decade, last January.
He is also set to release the tour’s namesake second full album on Monday, July 27.
Young K, together with the rest of Day6 made their official debut in 2015 with their single Congratulations.
That was later followed by their acclaimed songs You Were Beautful, I Smile, I Loved You, Time of Our Life, and Sweet Chaos.
In 2021, Young K was launched as a soloist with his debut extended play called Eternal, which was followed by Letters With Notes in 2023.
