On Wednesday, July 8, a Korean news outlet broke the report that Yunho, a member of the K-pop group ATEEZ, has broken up with his longtime girlfriend, who is not a celebrity, around three months ago.
According to MHN Sports, the woman was said to be his friend from school and added that the break-up was “difficult” for both parties.
In response, KQ Entertainment, the band’s label, confirmed that the idol has indeed broken up with his ex-partner, but did not disclose further details.
“After personally checking with Yunho over the phone, he said that he never met or even spoke to his ex-girlfriend over the phone after ending their relationship. It’s true that their relationship completely concluded at that time,” the translated version of the statement read.
Yunho, together with the other seven members of ATEEZ, debuted in the K-pop scene back in 2018.
Over the years, they have dropped multiple albums and extended plays, such as Say My Name, Illusion, Wave, Answer, Inception, Guerilla, and Bouncy, among many others.
Last June 26, they unveiled their most recent extended play entitled Golden Hour: Part 5, which carries the lead single called BAD.
