The Miley Barbie is out now.
On her Instagram account, American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus shared a short reel where she presented her collection of Barbie dolls, which were displayed on top of a grand piano.
The said collection, which includes the likes of other singers such as Diana Ross and Tina Turner, is still “not complete” without one, which she also revealed in the same clip — her very own Miley Cryrus Barbie doll.
“Add me to your collection,” the Hannah Montana star said at the end of the video.
In the caption, however, she wrote a more personal narration of her affinity with the popualr doll, which was first produced and rolled out to the market in 1959.
“Barbie represents a personal dream of mine. She’s something I’ll never outgrow as she evolves with me,” she told. “When I was little, I braided her hair and changed her outfits. As an adult, I treasure my collection I never take out of the box.“
Years later, Miley, who is now an accomplished musician with no less than a Grammy Award under her belt, said that getting her own Barbie feels like a “full circle moment” for her.
“Holding my Barbie in my hands is a true full circle moment. Now you have a little piece of me and every time you hold her, I hope you’re reminded that I’m rooting for you to chase your own dreams too,” she said.
Her Barbie doll has been dressed in the custom Alaïa for Golden Burning Sun is already out in stores.
Earlier this year, Miley led a pop culture moment when she returned to Disney for a special 20th anniversary special to celebrate the two decades since the premiere of her show Hannah Montana, which aired between 2006 and 2011 on the Disney Channel.
She also released the single entitled Younger You in conjunction with the special.
