Hotel101 Bangkok to be developed near Don Mueang Airport in Thai capital

On Wedneaday, July 1, Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp. announced that it has signed the definitive binding agreements for the joint venture development of an approximately 770-room Hotel101 development in Bangkok, Thailand.

The company noted this expansion as a “significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy,” as it will bring its globally standardized condotel business model to one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic capital cities and major transportation hubs.

The said project will be jointly developed by Hotel101 Global and the Thai developer Origin Property PCL, which is a leading property developer specializing in stylish condominiums located near BTS Skytrain routes and expressways.

True to that, the Hotel101-Bangkok is expected to occupy a prime 8,336-square-meter site along Phahon Yothin Road, near Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) and will be located right beside the Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS Station.

This strategic position is expected to offer connectivity and convenient access to Bangkok’s vibrant northern corridor,” noted the company, adding that the area has emerged as one of “Bangkok’s key growth districts” for its modern infrastructure, excellent transport links, and strong mix of commercial, residential, and tourism developments.

It also noted that the site will provide convenient access for both domestic and international travelers to major attractions such as the Yaek Night Market and easybafcess to the Chatuchak Market, the city center, and major Bangkok attractions.

Expected to be completed by 2029, Hotel101 Bangkok will offer modern rooms with 4-star amenities such as a 24/7 reception, all-day dining, swimming pool (with children’s pool), full-size gym, business center, parking, luggage storage, meeting spaces, and conference center.

The company expects Hotel101 Bangkok will generate up to 1.925 billion THB (USD58 million) in sales revenue once it is fully sold.

The Thailand expansion is also part of the group’s goal of creating 1 million uniform Hotel101 rooms in 100 countries, which it said will be done through the licensing of its  business model, which will provide longterm recurring revenue stream for owners.

First opened in Manila, it now has different branches around the country and abroad, starting with the first international expansion in Madrid, Spain, which opened in March 2026 to record performance.

It will soon be followed by the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido Japan, which will open in December 2026.

Throughout the year, Hotel101 said there will also be 2,229 additional rooms from both hotels in Spain and Japan, as well as an upcoming one in Davao.
