He is in the country for a couple of activities.
On Monday, June 29, Japanese-American actor-model Luke Ishikawa Plowden, who is known for his work in the Thai entertainment industry, landed in Manila.
The 30-year-old personality is in the country for a two-day visit, where already first in his itinerary is a Charity Visit, supporting a community outreach in Manila by the Philippine Red Cross.
The day after, on June 30, he will grace a Private Fashion Show Event, where he is expected to have a runway participation, with a fan event also scheduled for him to meet and greet his Filipino fans.
Speaking to members of the media upon his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, he noted that the activities lined up for him during his stay will give him an “opportunity to do some real good.”
Luke also said that he looks forward to exploring the city and even teased that this visit is just the first of many to come as he thanked his supporters for the warm reception.
“Thank you so much for supporting me and welcoming me to this country. I can’t wait to do more projects here. It’s just the beginning,” he expressed.
Starting out his career as a model, Luke moved into acting in 2019 after he was signed by Thai media giant GMMTV. He went on to star in numerous projects under the company, such as Oh My Boss; Drag, I Love You; My Dear Donovan, The Three GentleBros, and Faceless Love.
Soon, he is set to star in the upcoming Channel 3 series Love Destiny as Constantine Phaulkon and Chao Phraya Wichayen.
