A recognition that it views as a reflection of its growing relevance in Hong Kong’s dynamic food scene.
Recently, the Hong Kong-based network of stores of Filipino fastfood giant Jollibee was named the Best Quick Service Restaurant at Foodie Forks 2026, the 12th edition of Foodie’s restaurant and bar awards that celebrates Hong Kong’s vibrant dining and hospitality community, which happened last May 18 at Soho House.
The recognition was announced by A Foodie World as part of the Foodie Forks 2026 winners list, which featured 48 awardees across restaurants, bars, cafés, chefs, and other dining categories in Hong Kong.
For Jollibee, this citation “affirms the brand’s growing connection with customers in one of Asia’s most vibrant food market,” which it told also reflects the continued appeal of Jollibee’s signature food, joyful service, and welcoming experience among customers in the city.
Rose Lam, Managing Director at Jollibee Hong Kong noted, “We are deeply grateful to our customers in Hong Kong for continuing to make Jollibee part of their everyday moments, and to our team members who bring heart to every meal they serve. This recognition belongs to them.”
Meanwhile, Ernesto Tanmantiong, Global President & CEO of Jollibee Group, stated: “Hong Kong is one of the world’s most vibrant culinary destinations, and receiving this recognition is both an honor and a source of inspiration.”
“It motivates us to continue delighting our customers with the food they love and the joyful service they have come to expect from us,” he added.
Jollibee first opened in Hong Kong in 1996, and this 2026 marks the brand’s 30th anniversary in the market. At present, Jollibee has 24 outlets in Hong Kong and four stores in nearby Macau.
For the Jollibee Group, it noted that this recognition adds to its momentum as it continues to grow across international markets.
Furthermore, the company said that “[The award] reflects the Group’s focus on building brands that can compete globally while remaining relevant to local customers’ tastes, habits, and expectations.“
Prior to this, the brand has been ranked by Brand Finance as the 5th strongest restaurant brand worldwide.
It was also Euromonitor International’s number 1 quick-service restaurant brand in Vietnam and number 2 chicken quick-service restaurant in the whole Southeast Asia.
Meanwhile, in late May, Jollibee also expanded its portfolio in Hong Kong by setting up the travel-themed outlet right inside the newly-opened Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2.
