‘Sigabo’ drops teaser ahead of June 22 premiere on ABS-CBN, cast to hold motorcade around Manila

On Friday, June 5, ABS-CBN Studios, Dreamscape Entertainment, and CCM Film Production released the official teaser for the comeback series of Primetime King Coco Martin and Prime Actress Julia Montes.

The couple will star in the action-comedy-drama Sigabo, which will make its premiere on June 22 (Monday) at 8:00 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.

In the 50-second preview, viewers get a glimpse of theor characters and the stunts in the series with a chase between Coco, who rode a motorcycle, and Julia, who drove a sports car.

Prior to this, the team also released the show’s official poster, as well as a look into the music video for the series’ official soundtrack.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, June 6, the entire cast of Sigabo will be in full force as they go around the populous districts of Baclaran in Parañaque and Blumentritt, Tondo, Divisoria, and Quiapo in Manila to promote the series.

Joining Coco and Julia in the said activity are the likes of Edu Manzano, Joey Marquez, Carmi Martin, Chanda Romero, Irma Adlawan, JC De Vera, Ron Martin, and many more.

The show marks the on-screen reunion of Coco and Julia after FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2021, which was preceeded by their priorbprojects like Walang Hanggan in 2012 and Ikaw Lamang in 2014.

Sigabo was supposed to premiere in March, but was pushed back to allow the production team, who also helmed Coco’s previous series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which ended its three-year run in March, to get a short break at the request of the actor-director-producer.

The network, in a recent disclosure, also noted that it is expecting an upswing in its primetime viewership and revenue with the launch of Sigabo, which it looks to help buoy its financial results through the latter half of 2026.

Meanwhile, expected to be revealed in the coming days are teasers, as well as the cast members of the show, which Coco described as a light action-drama that will have a contrasting tone to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which cumulatively ran for a total of 10 years
