Carlos Yulo clinches first French men’s gymnastics title

Another feather has been added to his hat.

In a post, Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo celebrated a new milestone that he acheived.

This, as the 26-year-old led the French OAJLP Gymnastique team to the top of the race at the Championnats de France Finales Top 12 or the French Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Championship.

So proud of what we all did last night! Everyone gave their all and it really showed on the competition floor,” Yulo, who has been dubbed the “Golden Boy of Philippine Sports” said.

Carlos scored a near-perfect score of 15.050 for his floor exercise, while he got 14.250 points on his parallel bars routine.

He also noted that there were “A lot of stressful moments and pressure behind this win, which makes it even more special.”

Really grateful for this team and everything we experienced together,” he concluded the post.

Aside from his teammates, also seen in the carousel is someone who showed support to him in his journey at the said tournament — his longtime girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, who also posed for a photo beside him.

At present, Caloy has confirmed his intention to compete anew in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles after hauling two gold medals from the 2024 games in Paris.
