On Tuesday, April 21, Filipino pop star Gelo Rivera of the P-pop group BGYO released his collaboration single with Vietnamese singer Vũ Thảo My.

The said track, entitled Zealous (or GÃ SĂN MỒI), has two versions. The one that dropped late Tuesday evening, Manila time, was the Vietnamese version.

Meanwhile, an English version of the same song is expected to follow suit on Friday, April 24.

Alongside the song, a three-minute-video was also released, with Gelo providing the English rap verses in the dance pop track.

Prior to the song’s release, Gelo recently celebrated his 25th birthday last April 18.

He was also announced to be making an acting stint in the new iWant microdrama The Chambermaid’s Daughter, which will come out on April 30, opposite Alexa Ilacad.

Gelo is the leader of BGYO, which was soft-launched back in 2020 as SHA Boys, having been formed through the Star Hunt Academy of ABS-CBN prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The following year, in January 2021, they made their official debut alongside the release of their first single, The Light.

Since then, they have dropped songs like He’s Into HerWhen I’m With YouThe BaddestTumitigil Ang Mundo, and Gigil, among others. Last February, they made their latest comeback with Fresh.

Meanwhile, the band is also getting exposure across the region, as they have also performed at the Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025 in Thailand last August, as well as the D.U.N.K. Showcase in Japan—alongside fellow Filipino acts SB19 and Cup of Joe—last March.
