in a post on Instagram, the Queen Of All Media, Kris Aquino, shared her recent moment with her son James, who is also known by his nickname Bimby.
In the clip, she was having a heart-to-heart talk with his son, who admitted that he likes a girl, whom Kris did not disclose any clues of her identity.
Instead, she wrote in the caption, “I never thought I’d be excited for the day when Bimb really likes a girl. He told me he feels she’s ‘special.’”
She then shared her birthday wish for Bimby, who is celebrating his 19th birthday on Sunday, April 19
“My birthday wish for my bunso is that she does become his first girlfriend and who knows, God willing also his last—yes, I’ll be very blessed to have her for my daughter in law (in 7-9 years?)…” she said.
With Kris being herself, she said that she had also been asking Bimb the past couple of weeks if they (as a family) send the mystery girl gifts, such as flowers, balloons, candies/chocolates, food, and even 1/2 of a couple hoodie in white “since it’s summer.”
She even asked him if this girl already had a new phone, which freaked Bimby out and said: “Mama, chill. You’ll overwhelm her because she’ll know it’s not from me but from you. Please let it flow?“
On a serious note, Kris reflected that in the past few years, especially amid her battle with her health conditions, Bimb has sacrificed so much to take care of her.
“[B]ut he doesn’t have to anymore. The best gift i can give him is to let him enjoy his youth, and let him choose his own career path. My deal with him is he just has to give his 100%.”
Meanwhile, on a side note about her health, Kris shared that she has 1 more infusion session of Rituxan in line for her.
“This is already my second cycle—it’s a very strong immunosuppressant but I’ve gotten encouraging results,” she disclosed. “The people I will be working with under the team created by my godson, Dingdong Dantes, will just need to take extra precautions.”
Kris also noted that there was also supposed to be a final presentation on April 18, but she personally asked for a reschedule because she didn’t want to see what her “comeback show” was going to look and sound like—more especially because it is also Bimb’s weekend.
She also shared that she is once again eating out, which is only her second time time since returning to the Philippines for her operation and recovery, where they will be joined by “very close family.”
