The couple is expecting their next child.
On Tuesday, April 14, Korean talent management company SALT Entertainment announced that Korean actress Park Shin Hye is pregnant with her second child with actor Choi Tae Joon.
According to the company, “Park Shin Hye is pregnant with her second child. She is due to give birth this fall. We ask for your warm blessings.”
No other details were, however, provided, including how far along she is in her second pregnancy.
Shin Hye and Tae Joon first dated in 2017, and publicly announced their status in March 2018.
Park Shin Hye was first seen playing Han Jung Soo, the younger version of Choi Ji Woo’s character in the 2003 drama Stairway to Heaven.
Later on, she was paired opposite Jang Geun Seuk for You’re Beautiful in 2009. In 2013, she amassed a huge following when she starred as Cha Eun Sang in The Heirs and the adult version of Ye-sung in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7.
Recently, she was seen in Doctor Slump, The Judge From Hell, and Undercover Miss Hong.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Choi Tae-joon first debuted as a child actor in 2001.
As an adult, he starred The Girl Who See Smells, Missing 9, Suspicious Partner, and So I Married an Anti-Fan. He also served as a permanent host for the KBS talk show Hello, Counselor.
