The top-rating program has wrapped up its three-year-run.
Last Friday, March 13, ABS-CBN’s flagship primetime series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo aired its final episode that capped its storied three-year run.
During which, lead actor, director, and producer Coco Martin, cast members, and the rest of the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo team came together for a finale watch party.
In his interview on the primetime newscast, TV Patrol, Coco shared his message of gratitude to the viewers who tuned in to the show, which enabled it to become the leading series in the country since 2023.
“Sobra akong proud sa ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Thank you sa lahat ng mga Pilipino,” he said.
The Primetime King added, “Binuhos namin lahat ng lakas at pagmamahal at binigay namin ‘yung best namin para sa show na ito kasi ‘yun ang deserve ng lahat ng mga manonood.”
Speaking of the finale, a peak count viewership count of 748,001 live online views tuned into the episode, which was packed with action scenes and the dramatic confrontations as Tanggol (Coco Martin) faced off with his mortal enemy, Rigor (John Estrada), for the final time.
Having started its run in February 2023, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo consistently placed as the most-watched the show on multiple broadcast and online platforms, and at one point, even topped both the TV ratings chart and garnered over 1 million live viewers on Kapamilya Online Live.
Beginning Monday, March 16, the 8:00 pm slot will be occupied by the TV run of The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.
