They have officially welcomed the newest member of their family.
In a post on his Instagram account on Thursday, March 12, Kapamilya actor-performer Ronnie Alonte delivered the good news to his 3.2 million followers on the platform.
Posting a photo of a newborn child who was placed in a cloth that had the letters RL, he announced that Runi Lior, his and actress Loisa Andalio’s first baby, has been born.
“Meet our Nili,” he wrote with a flower emoji beside it.
Immediately, the couple was showered with comments from their fans and fellow celebrities.
Among those that sent their congratulatory messages following the safe delivery were their past co-stars and colleagues like Lotlot de Leon, Ara Mina, Karla Estrada Charlie Dizon, Jackie Gonzaga, Chie Filomeno, Hashtag members Zeus Collins, Luke Conde, and Kid Yambao, among others.trend
During her baby shower, Loisa explained that the first name, which is similar to the father’s name, means “beautiful.”
As for the latter, she revealed that it was suppised to be “Loir” to make it similar to the name, but they changed it to that for “lion,” which she joked could also be portmanteau of that word and the sound “roar.”
It was last December when Loisa and Ronnie announced that they are expecting their first baby soon.
It happened almost a month after they tied the knot last November, which then came just within days of announcing their engagement.
Loisa and Ronnie began dating in 2016 and publicly confirmed their relationship two years later.
They went on to star together in multiple projects under the love team called LoiNie, including episodes of Wansapanataym, The General’s Daughter, Love In 40 Days, and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
