True to our mission of giving “stories you like to follow.”
From March 7 and 8, Trendrod will transform its weekend programming into specialized themes that will cater to the evolving needs and preferences of the digital audience.
Trendrod Quests is the name of the beefed up Saturday edition, which will focus on stories that entertain, bring refuge to our readers, and encourage them to learn new, exciting, and meaningful things.
They are encouraged to take a break from the noise of the world for a moment and scroll leisurely to discover new hobbies, interests, events, attractions, places, content, and personalities that will add color to life.
As for those who are seeking to get their fix of breaking news on Saturdays, they are assured that these stories will still remain an integral part of the overall coverage.
Soon, there will also be new formats coming that will further enrich and refine the experience.
Trendrod Sunday, meanwhile, will deliver the recap of the major news stories of the week and the latest developments as they happen to get readers up to speed and prepared for the week ahead.
From the biggest political movements, policies, corporate stories, groundbreaking innovations to insights and opinions that bring different perspectives, the Sunday edition has plenty in store for those who tune in.
“Given the constantly evolving nature of the media landscape, changing things around is not only necessary, but a vital part of our being as an independent publication,” told the leadership at Trendrod. “Through our special editions—Quests and Sunday—we hope that we will be able to deliver additional value to our audiences that let us be part of their weekends.”
Prior to their launch weekend, added the leadership, Quests and Sunday have been tested for over a month, with the results indicating an encouraging response from the readership base.
Similar to the weekday counterpart, stories on weekends are accessible on this website and Trendrod’s social media pages.
