A new single from the one-and-only Nation’s Girl Group.
On Thursday, March 5, P-pop group BINI unveiled their latest single entitled Unang Kilig, together with its accompanying music video.
According to the official description shared by their label Star Music, the song, which was composed, written, and produced by Jeremy Glinoga, is a “playful song about the feeling of the first stages of love. Not being completely sure about it, but knowing that it’s the type of feeling that can’t be replaced and can’t be replicated.“
In line with the theme, the five-minute video is also equally light in nature, with all eight members—Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena—auditioning to play parts in a project.
There as judges are some of the stalwarts of the industry, who are no less than Charo Santos-Concio, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and Olivia Lamasan.
Acting as their partners in the MV are Vhong Navarro, Richard Gutierrez, and Gerald Anderson, with talent manager Ogie Diaz appearing as an acting coach.
A noteworhy potion of the video are also the members throwing lines, which were all derived from iconic films produced and distributed by Star Cinema, such as She’s Dating The Gangster, Love You To The Stars And Back, and Labs Kita Okey Ka Lang?
Interspersed with that are the girls dancing the choreograph created by Sheena together with Reden Blanquera and Matthew Almodovar.
As of this writing, the video has garnered over 370,000 views in under 24 hours.
Unang Kilig marks the team’s first music release since the the mini-album FLAMES last November, which carried the lead single Sweet Tooth, as well as songs like Bikini and First Luv.
The said track was also first teased at the Kiligan Fest event last Valentine’s Day (February 14) in Manila, where the girl group was witnessed by a record crowd for the mall where it was held.
Notably, it also comes out just a month ahead of the girls’ debut at the Coachella Music Festival in April 2026.
