The Queen Mother has stood her ground to protect her child.
Through her Instagram account, former morning show host Karla Estrada cross-posted in her feed the post made by a fan account in defense of her daughter and Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0 winner Lella Ford.
Posted by an account with the handle lellabulletin, the caption of the post read: “WE STAND WITH LELLA – ALWAYS” and emphasized the line, “enough is enough.”
It continued, “Supporting your favorite should never mean tearing someone else down. Lella has received unnecessary hate, personal attacks, and disrespect that go far beyond normal criticism and that will never be okay.”
“Honestly, what makes this even more disappointing is seeing where some of the hate is coming from – moms, soon-to-be moms, grandparents, minors, teens, some members of the LGBTQ+ community, and even individuals studying psychology. It’s disheartening to witness this kind of negativity coming from people we would normally expect to promote understanding, empathy, and kindness online,” the next paragraph read.
The original uploader also that while people can disagree and have differing opinions, attacking the character of another and spreading hate “crosses the line.”
“For the longest time, we chose to stay quiet and focus on supporting peacefully. But defending someone who continues to show strength, kindness, and authenticity is not toxicity it is simply standing up for what is right,” furthered lellabulletin.
The also said that Lella handled herself with grace even when the noise outside the PBB house grew louder, which it said is enough for her to earn respect.
“This is not about fan wars. This is about basic decency. Support your bet. Celebrate your favorite. But leave hate out of it,” the post ended.
It was last Saturday, February 28, when Lella Ford won as the Kapamilya Big Winner of the reality franchise’s 19th installment, with her Kapuso counterpart being former child star Caprice Cayetano.
