With that, also ended the country’s participation in the ongoing games.
On Wednesday, February 18, Filipina alpine skier Tallulah Proulx came back to the snowy slope in Cortina, Italy for the women’s slalom event of the ongoing 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The 17-year-old, who is also the country’s first female representative to the winter edition, competed against 94 others in the said event.
Proulx had a total run time of 2:08.48 minutes in her two runs, more than 29 seconds behind the first placer Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States.
With that, Tallulah finished at 50th place in the said event, which follows her earlier participation in giant slalom that was held last Sunday, February 15.
Having a total run time of 2:41.62 minutes, she landed 52nd overall, which was able to put her above 20 other competitors, but outside the Top 30.
Alongside the end of Tallulah’s journey in the Winter Olympic Games, Team Philippines had also wrapped up its campaign.
Proulx’s fellow alpine skier, Francis Ceccarelli, also competed in both the men’s giant slalom and slalom events, where he landed the 54th spot in the former, but had a DNF (did not finish) mark in the latter due to heavy snowfall that affected visibility of many participants.
