With the couple hopping on a beach escapade for the occasion.
In a post on Instagram last Monday, February 16, content creator Chloe San Jose greeted her boyfriend, Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo on his 26th birthday.
The couple, to celebrate the occasion, went on a beach getaway to Liwliwa in San Felipe, Zambales, with a pair of photos from that vacation being uploaded by Chloe on Instagram.
In the caption, she wrote, “The world champion and the champion of my heart, happiest birthday mahal ko.”
“Another year older, another year closer to even bigger dreams and I just know you’re going to reach all of them. More than the wins and titles, I’m grateful for the YOU that I get: the calm, kind, and soft one when the world isn’t watching—you just keep making me proud every single day,” added San Jose.
To end it, she wrote a sweet note that read: “I’ll always be your number one fan. Always cheering the loudest, always believing in you, and always right by your side. Happy birthday again dada, wuvyu always.”
The post has since garnered over 14,000 likes on the social media platform.
Earlier this year, Chloe shared a personal milestone when she finished her studies in the Korea University in Seoul.
As for Carlos, he had a successful season last year after securing back-to-back medals at the 53rd edition of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Yulo competed in the men’s floor exercise, where he secured a bronze medal, and the men’s vault where he took home a gold medal.
The 25-year-old is also hailed as the Golden Boy of Philippine Sports, being the country’s first ever gold medalist in gymnastics at the Olympics, twice on that, and the first Filipino to win in a single edition—creating that feat in the 2024 games in Paris.
