It is a new soul-switching drama with a twist.
On Wednesday, February 11, streaming giamt Netflix announced the production of a new Korean drama series topbilled by Welcome to Samdal-ri star Shin Hye-sun and Marry My Husband actor Na In-woo—who are reunited after the 2022 series Mr. Queen.
Entitled Love O’Clock, the romantic comedy series is based on a popular webtoon and introduces a fresh twist on the body‑swap romance. This, as their characters switch bodies for just one random hour a day.
Shin will portray Cha Ju‑an, a reality TV producer whose chaotic work and personal life leave her neglecting her own happiness.
“Relentless and headstrong, Ju‑an’s world flips when her one‑hour swaps with Do‑jin spark real change,” read the character description.
Meanwhile, Na will play the part of Yu Do‑jin, a star athlete who’s forgotten how to enjoy life.
“Used to keeping tight control over everything, he’s forced out of his comfort zone as he experiences Ju‑an’s unruly, vibrant daily life. Beneath a cool exterior, he’s more thoughtful than he appears,” added the platform.
Joining them in this series are Yoon Kyun-sang of Clean With Passion For Now and Lee Ju-woo of Stealer: The Treasure Keeper.
The former will be Ko Tae‑hun, a director at Do‑jin’s agency and his close friend. “Warm yet self‑contained, he’s always kept personal boundaries until Choi Mi‑hyang finds a way into his heart, challenging him in ways he never anticipated.”
The latter takes on the role of Choi Mi‑hyang, a reality TV writer and Ju‑an’s best friend and housemate. “Candid and charming, she’s long set romance aside due to her busy work, but meeting Tae‑hun sparks feelings she didn’t expect,” the descriptor furthered.
At helm of this project are True Beauty director Kim Sang‑hyup and Business Proposal writers Han Sul‑hee and Hong Bo‑hui.
Netflix has yet to announce the premiere date for the series.
