This week, Korean pop star Sunghoon of the popular boy band ENHYPEN flew all the way to Milan, Italy for a special participation in the Winter Olympic Games.
The 23-year-old idol, who is also formerly a national figure skater of South Korea, served as one of the torchbearers in the torch relay activity prior to the opening ceremony.
He even made a short tour around the city ahead of the Red Carpet program, where he shopped and dined at local restaurants, as posted by the official Olympics page.
Meanwhile, in a post on the official ENHYPEN page, Sunghoon shared how he is enjoying his experience of attending the Olympics so far.
“A dazzling Olympic night in Milan ❄️✨,” he called the day that the games kicked off last Friday, February 6 (local time).
He continued, “From the red carpet to the opening ceremony, every moment will be unforgettable! I will cherish the passion I felt here and give my all at every moment. 🤍 I sincerely hope all the athletes succeed.”
In a previous statement on the article announcing his appearance, the ENHYPEN star was quoted saying, “More than anything, I am deeply rooting for the national athletes who have worked so hard for this Winter Olympics because I am fully aware of their passion and dedication.“
He added, “Competing in the Olympics has always been a dream of mine, and I am so happy and honored to have achieved that dream as a singer.”
