In a post on his Instagram account, Khalil Ramos, who had just turned 30, shared images from his recent birthday celebration.
Captioning it with a simple “best birthday ever,” the actor-singer was seen enjoying his arcade-themed party with the people close to him, including his long-time girlfriend and Kapuso It Girl Gabbi Garcia.
In a separate post, Khalil wrote in much more detail, telling the part was a “childhood dream come true” for him.
“A month ago I made a spontaneous visit to one of the places I grew up in, the OG Timezone in Glorietta 4. Instant nostalgia bomb. I felt like I was 12 years old again. So I shot my shot,” he said.
He continued, “I’m not really big on birthdays, but turning 30 hit me in a way I didn’t expect. It made me realize I still want to celebrate life the same way I did growing up… with my friends, loud laughter, and most especially some competition.”
The star also said that he kept wondering “is my childhood dream actually possible now?”, which is to have the entire arcade to themselves.
“And it freaking happened,” he exclaimed.
He narrated what went down at the party, where “45 of my closest friends going against each other in a tournament that had all our favorite games. The shouting, the chaos, the clutch moments, the trash talk… it was the most fun we’ve had in a long time!!“
“To all my friends, love you guys. Bilang isa sa bunso, thanks for welcoming me to the trentahin club hahahah,” he closed the post with a shoutout to them.
Meanwhile, Garcia also shared the “cute little details” from the party in her own Instagram post.
Aside from the party, Khalil and Gabbi were seen together in the music video of original Filipino music band Ben&Ben for the song Duyan.
