It is touted as the biggest for any broadcast network in the country.

In a new reel uploaded on social media, TV5’s news division shared a new studio tour conducted by personalities from News5.

The department’s head Patrick Paez, Cignal TV news chief Jove Francisco, together with Ed Lingao, Cheryl Cosim, Ruth Cabal, Lourd de Veyra, and MJ Marfori got a peek into the new state-of-the-art facility built by the network.

Called the MQ Studio, the said TV production space is said to be the biggest for any broadcast network in the country and can accommodate up to 800 audience members.

At present, no further information has been shared yet on which program (or programs) will use the existing studio, but News5 hinted that it would be used by its self-produced shows and collaboration projects with other parties soon.

This new studio is understood to be the same project that was first announced back in February 2025, constructed on a plot of land beside the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong.

According to chairman Manny Pangilinan back then, the cost of the 10-storey building is pegged at PHP4 billion, with the first phase originally targeted to be finished before the end of 2025 and completed in two-and-a-half years.

Thrre studios were confirmed to be included in the original masterplan, with Studio W which was supposedly meant for Willie Revillame, who is one of the partners in this project, Studio E for Eat Bulaga, and Studio Q for other productions of the MediaQuest group.

Although, Revillame had already confirmed that he will not be utilizing the studio for his upcoming comeback program Wilyonaryo, which will instead be produced at the Wil Tower Mall in Quezon City.

The Mandaluyong complex, officially known as the TV5 Media Center, has been the official home of the network since December 2013, with productions of News5 being the first tenants to make the move to the news building back then.

Supposedly, there was an original entertainment wing to be built beside the news building, but that was later changed to an office tower called the Launchpad building.

At present, there are three main TV studios inside the media center. Studio 4 is where Eat Bulaga emanates from, with Studio 5 dedicated to Frontline Pilipinas and the live programs of News5 and Cignal TV, and Studio 6 for Face To Face: Harapan.

Radio booths for True FM and One PH are also inside the said building.
