The series’ lead star expressed her thoughts on social media.
On her Facebook account, Viva artist Atasha Muhlach shared her reaction to the inclusion of her program, Bad Genius: The Series in Trendrod’s Top 40 Philippine TV and streaming programs in 2025.
Specifically reposting the post that included the top 10 programs of the previous year that were listed as part of Best Shows, where BGTS ranked 10th, Atasha wrote: “Wow!! Maraming maraming salamat to everyone who supported Bad Genius The Series ❤️ such a blessing!“
She continued, “Thank you!! 🥰❤️ A big appreciation to the whole Bad Genius Team for being a big part of putting this show together 🫶🏼✨“
In the said article, it was pointed out, “One of the best things about this adaptation is the cinematography, with it being treated like a movie with shots and color grading not usually seen on television.”
“The main cast members also offer a surprisingly good balance in terms of their acting, with a special mention for Atasha for having delivered well despite this project being her first-ever series—and as a lead actress too, no less,” it continued.
Lastly, “Bad Genius turned out to be one of Viva’s strongest serial productions since the launch of its Viva One platform.“
Aside from Atasha, also part of this serial adaptation of the hit Thai movie and TV show are Jairus Aquino, Gab Lagman, and Hyacinth Callado.
