Last Friday, November 21, Filipino content production giant ABS-CBN Studios created a new feat in local media as two of its ongoing productions begin streaming simultaneously on Netflix.

These two drama serials are the mystery-thriller What Lies Beneath — which has been airing since late October — and the newly-launched action-packed series Roja, which ranked first on the Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines on its debut.

Episodes of both productions are made available on the streaming giant 72 hours ahead of their respective broadcasts on linear platforms, and a day before on ABS-CBN’s iWant.

It is the first time for both the network and for any local company to release two shows on Netflix through the said arrangement.

Previously, other shows that were given such treatment were other Kapamilya programs, 2 Good 2 Be True, Can’t Buy Me Love, Lavender Fields, Incognito, and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, as well as GMA’s Pulang Araw.

Meanwhile, following the launch of Roja, What Lies Beneath is also moving to a brand new time slot.

The mystery-thriller series starring Kaila Estrada, Sue Ramirez, Janella Salvador, Charlie Dizon, Jake Cuenca, and JM de Guzman has been transferred to 9:30 pm every weeknight (Friday to Tuesday on Netflix)

As for the action series top-billed by Donny Pangilinan and Kyle Echarri, it will be airing weeknights (Friday to Tuesday on Netflix) at 8:45 pm.
