As the blockbuster movie hit another milestone.
In an article published by ABS-CBN and shared by Star Cinema, it was revealed that the family drama movie Meet, Greet & Bye is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of 2025.
According to the production company, the project starring Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Belle Mariano, achieved the feat after grossing PHP175 million in the box-office.
It surpassed the record set by Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s summer rom-com hit My Love Will Make You Disappear, which was also produced by Star Cinema, which reported a PHP173 million gross.
“Because of every family who showed up and every heart that held this story, we’ve now reached over ₱175 Million as of November 21,” the Kapamilya movie outfit shared in the caption of its post.
It added, “This Philippine Cinema Phenomenon is yours as much as it is ours.”
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, who is also behind some of the country’s highest-grossing films like Hello, Love Goodbye and its sequel Hello, Love, Again, the powerhouse drama movie premiered in Philippine theaters last November 12.
According to Star Cinema, the film is also showing in various parts of the world, with screenings in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, United States, Canada, Guam, UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy and France.
This weekend, it will be released in Greece (November 22) and Spain (November 23).
Later this month, moviegoers in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Brunei, and Papua New Guinea will get to watch Meet, Greet & Bye, while the movie will hit screens in Cambodia starting on December 12.
