He is the newest star to join the company.
Amid his growing popularity, especially in the online world, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao, son of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, is gearing up for his entry into showbusiness.
According to the report made by PEP on Friday, November 14, the young Pacquiao personally confirmed that he had already signed up with GMA Network’s Sparkle artist management company.
At present, the agency is already preparing his appearance on TV, he noted.
Coincidentally, GMA was also the former home network of his father, who starred in or hosted programs like Show Me Da Manny and Manny Many Prizes.
This development comes after the 21-year-old rising boxer won in the recent Thrilla In Manila 2 event, which subsequently resulted to his virality when pictures of him began circulating on social media.
It led to netizens quipping that he is a look-alike of a number of personalities, including matinee idol Piolo Pascual.
In fact, their paths had already crossed, with Pascual appearing together with Bacosa-Pacquiao in the recent episode of GMA’s top-rating magazine program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
“It is an honor to meet you po,” the athlete wrote in the caption of his post on Instagram, where he shared images of their meet-up.
