The much-anticipated annual showcase of stars and stories of normal people is back.
On Friday, November 14, ABS-CBN premiered its 2025 Christmas ident themed Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko right before its flagship primetime newscast TV Patrol.
The 24-minute-long video started with Kathryn Bernardo having a roundtable session with people from various walks of life, all of whom shared their own aspirations and messages that were incorporated into the song.
Aside from that, viewers were also treated to a visual and lyrical callback to the 2004 station ID, Sabay Tayo, Kapamilya, complete with clips of Gary Valenciano, Zsazsa Padilla, Martin Nievera, and Sarah Geronimo from two decades ago.
Featured in this music video too are the Kapamilya network’s biggest and brightest stars, such as Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Maricel Soriano, Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, Belle Mariano, and Donny Pangilinan, among many other personalities and talents from the entertainment group.
The news division was also present in the ID, led by TV Patrol anchors Noli de Castro, Karen Davila, Bernadette Sembrano, Alvin Elchico, Gretchen Fullido, Winnie Cordero, and Migs Bustos. Also seen were members of the ANC family like Karmina Constantino, Rico Hizon, Michelle Ong, and ABS-CBN reporters.
Love, Joy, Hope also appears to be a nod to the year prior’s ident, Our Stories Shine This Christmas, which remains to be the longest ever produced by the network.
Since it was established as a yearly tradition in 2002, the ABS-CBN Christmas Station IDs, as they were called prior to the terrestrial network’s shutdown and shift to content provision in 2020, has long been a cornerstone in Filipino celebrations.
The network’s most popular idents are ‘Bro, Ikaw Ang Star Ng Pasko’ (2009), ‘Magkasama Tayo Sa Kwento Ng Pasko’ (2013), ‘Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo’ (2014), ‘Thank You For The Love’ (2015), and ‘Family Is Love’ (2018).
