She once again broke her social media silence to express her thoughts.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, actress Angel Locsin shared how proud she is of her stepson, young Kapamilya actor-model Joaquin Arce.
The 18-year-old is currently one of the 20 housemates of the ongoing ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’.
She declared in the tweet, “I don’t usually comment, but seeing Joaquin grow from a little boy into someone who helps, listens, and keeps the peace at home makes me proud.”
Joaquin is the son of Angel’s husband, director Neil Arce, with his former non-showbiz partner.
The actress then disclosed the young Arce’s health condition, sharing that he is deaf in one ear.
“If he ever talks a bit loud or doesn’t respond, please forgive him — our son is completely deaf in his right ear,” said Angel.
Prior to this, Angel broke his silence online last July to express her support to Joaquin, who signed his contract with Star Magic.
Some of Angel’s most-notable projects include the top-rating television programs ‘Mulawin,’ ‘Darna (2005),’ ‘Majika,’ ‘Lobo,’ ‘Imortal,’ ‘The Legal Wife,’ ‘La Luna Sangre,’ and ‘The General’s Daughter.’
She also made her mark in local cinema, having starred in the blockbuster movies ‘One More Try’ and ‘Four Sisters And A Wedding,’ among others.
Prior to her break, Angel wed cinematographer Neil through a civil ceremony in 2021, while she also did the public service show ‘Iba ‘Yan’ on the Kapamilya Channel—which was also her last TV project before going on a break.
