A rundown of the biggest stories from the regions.
On Sunday, November 2, ABS-CBN News will expand its digital coverage via TV Patrol Regional a 10- to 15-minute Bisaya newscast that will stream on the ABS-CBN News’ YouTube Channel at 5:15 pm, right before the flagship national newscast TV Patrol Weekend.
Anchored by Cebu-based journalist Annie Perez, this new program delivers the biggest stories from the provinces and regions of the past week—from breaking news to inspiring stories that reflect the heart of Visayas and its culture.
TV Patrol Regional also highlights the hyperlocal reports surrounding stories that matter most to communities within Visayas and other regions.
Each episode will also include a light segment featuring entertainment, sports, and human-interest stories, designed to inform and uplift the public.
TVP Regional also banks on the success of regional digital content such as Kuan-on-One, which earned strong online engagement and proved the continued demand for local stories told in native languages.
Furthermore, the show also marks the first time that the network has a region-based news program since the dissolution of the ABS-CBN Regional group in 2020 due to the rejection of its franchise renewal bid.
