Last Friday, October 24, the hottest original Filipino music (OPM) band of the year, Cup of Joe, unveiled the official music video for the song ‘Bagyo.’
Starring in the five-and-a-half minute long video is the tandem of up-and-coming stars Dylan Menor and Jayda Avanzado, who will both topbill the upcoming Viva One adaptation of ‘Project Loki.’
As of writing, the MV has already garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube.
The said track is one of the songs from the band’s ‘Silakbo’ album released in January, which also includes the hit single ‘Multo’ that has been called as the nation’s “relapse song.”
That propelled COJ to the top of the charts after reaching the number 1 spot in the respective national charts of music streaming platforms Spotify and Apple Music.
Cup of Joe was formed in Baguio City in 2018, with the debut taking place a year later, in 2019.
The band gained following with the release of their extended play ‘Patutunguhan,’ which carried the songs ‘Tingin’ featuring Janine Teñoso, ‘Tataya,’ and ‘Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko.’
