They are participating in the upcoming season of the reality show.
After the announcement of the first four housemates in the past few days, ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’ added another pair on Thursday, October 23.
Through the flagship primetime newscast ’24 Oras,’ the program revealed that teen Kapamilya actress Krystal Mejes and Kapuso star Heath Jornales are also joining the slate of stars that will be part of the latest season.
Mejes, 17, shared that ‘PBB’ is out of her comfort zone. She told reporter Nelson Canlas, “I’m a very private person and I value privacy. But then sabi ko kasi, ‘You know maybe it’s one way of God nudging me to tell my story.”
The Star Magic personality is best known for her role in the series ‘Doble Kara,’ and later on, she starred in other dramas like ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit,’ ‘Lavender Fields,’ and most recently, ‘What Lies Beneath.’
Meanwhile, Jornales, 16, said that he aspires to be an action star, following the footsteps of his father, Michael Roy Jornales.
“Dumating ‘yong opportunity and I had to take it na kasi ito na ‘yong chance para makilala ako and makita ng tao kung sino talaga ako,” said the teen actor.
He was recently seen in the GMA primetime series ‘Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila,’ ‘Mga Batang Riles,’ and ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.’
Aside from the two, already revealed as part of ‘PBB Collab 2.0’ are Sofia Pablo, Joaquin Arce, Princess Aliyah, and Miguel Vergara.
The newest season of the longest-running reality show in the Philippines is set to debut on Saturday, October 25 at 6:05 pm on GMA.
