The Filipino representative was looking to bring home the title for the second straight year.
On Sunday, October 5, the finals night of the Mister Global 2025 competition was held in Bangkok, Thailand, with model Jether Palomo representing the Philippines.
Early on in the competition, the 23-year-old had already showed his prowess and bagged the special award for being the Best in Country Presentation Video.
During the finals, however, Palomo finished his journey in the Top 11 after failing to secure a spot in the Top 5.
In his post-pageant interview, the delegate shared, “Hey guys, it’s Jether. I’m here. We just finished Mister Global. I placed in the Top 11. I guess we’ll see if I join another one or I retire. But for now, I’m gonna take some rest. Thank you so much for the love. I see all the messages. I love you guys so much“
Jether Palomo is a product of the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide national pageant, which sent other contestants to other international pageants including Kirk Bondad, who recently won Mister International 2025.
Coincidentally, both Palomo and Bondad were once hailed winners of the Century Superbod competition.
Spain’s Alejandro Ortega was later proclaimed the winner of the male pageant, with Venezuela’s William Baddel named first runner-up and Mexico’s Alejandro Silva as second runner-up.
Ortega succeeds Filipino titleholder Dom Corilla, won the said pageant in 2024.
