TWICE’s Chaeyoung launches solo music with ‘Lil Fantasy Vol. 1’ album

She is the latest member of the group to embark on the journey of being a soloist.

On Friday, September 12, K-pop star Chaeyoung of the group TWICE formally launched her debut studio album entitled ‘Lil Fantasy Vol. 1’.

The said album carries 10 songs, including the lead single ‘Shoot (Firecracker),’ with its music video already reaching 1.3 million views on YouTube as of writing.

Also part of the track list are ‘Band-Aid,’ ‘Girl,’ ‘BF,’ ‘Shadow Play,’ ‘My Guitar,’ and ‘Lonely Doll Waltz’.

Chaeyoung also collabroated with other artists for her songs ‘Avocado (ft. Gliico),’ ‘Ribbons (ft. Sumin and Jibin of Y2K92),’ and ‘Downpour (with Kai)’.

With this release, she becomes the fourth TWICE member to be launched as soloist, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu. Although, other members have already released their solos in the past, including their recent group album, ‘This Is For’.

Chaeyoung debuted as a member of the group in 2015 after they were assembled at the end of the survival-reality show ‘Sixteen’.

TWICE went on to become a force in K-pop’s third generation, thanks to their successive hit singles ‘Like Ooh-ahh,’ ‘Cheer Up,’ ‘TT,’ ‘LIKEY,’ ‘Heartshaker,’ and ‘Yes Or Yes,’ among many others.

This October, the K-pop group will return to the Philippines for their ‘This Is For’ concert at the Philippine Arena.
