On the episode that aired on Thursday, August 28, the trio of hosts Karylle, Jhong Hilario, and Vhong Navarro served as the game masters for the new ‘Laro Laro Pik’ segment on ‘It’s Showtime’.
As it is the usual case for the opening sequences of portions in the hit noontime variety show, the hosts will do a mini-dance number before formally commencing.
Being playful, Karylle was teased by Jhong and Vhong to do a solo performance as she was dancing all-out during the original performance.
After doing some steps, she had to stop midway and touched her ankle, which led to the two male co-hosts to rush toward her to help.
“Sumobra, madlang people,” Karylle said in jest despite feeling the pain. The two then called in the medic to assist the female host.
She continued, “Ang hirap palang humataw!” and even joked with Ryan Bang, who, at that point, also went up to the stage to help her.
Before exiting the stage to get medical attention, she even asked herself: “Ba’t ba ako humataw?“
After the incident, she was not seen throughout the rest of the episode, with Jackie Gonzaga filling-in for her supposed hosting duties on ‘Laro Laro Pik.’
After the mishap, clips have instantly made rounds on social media, with netizens expressing their concern and well wishes for her.
