The hit movie eight years ago has a continuation.
On Wednesday, August 6, Viva Films and Ninuno Media unveiled the full trailer of ‘100 Awit Para Kay Stella,’ the upcoming sequel film of ‘100 Tula Para Kay Stella’.
Reprising their orginal roles of Stella Puno and Fidel Lansangan are actress-filmmaker Bela Padilla and JC Santos, respectively.
Meanwhile, a new face in Clyde, who will be character of singer-actor Kyle Echarri, will challenge Fidel‘s ties with Stella.
New original songs performed by Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol, Shanne Dandan, and Kyle Echarri are also set to be fearured in the film directed by John Paul Laxamana.
With the original film having ended in the year 2010, with the sequel set to bring their story to the present time, 2025, according to director Laxamana.
‘100 Awit Para Kay Stella’ is set to hit theaters nationwide on September 10, 2025.
‘100 Tula’ was an entry to 2017 Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), where it became the highest-grossing flick for the festival—earning PHP 100 million in the box-office.
The events of the original movie took place in 2004, with Fidel and Stella as freshmen psychology students in Pampanga.
