In a report by Deadline, it revealed that Filipina actress and Golden Globe nominee Dolly de Leon is set to become part of yet another overseas production.
De Leon will portray a series regular, Detective Sofia Gonzalez, in the new Apple TV+ original series ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’.
“There’s nothing like the prospect of working with people whose work you admire. ‘Hunters,’ ‘Orphan Black,’ ‘The X-Men!’ I’m beyond excited,” the actress said in a statement published by her agency Creazion Artists.
From Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, the series is written and executive produced by creator and showrunner David J. Rosen.
The official release date for ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ has yet to be revealed.
The new series comes a few months after Dolly was seen alongside Nicole Kidman in ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ on rival streaming platform, Hulu, where she played the former nun, Agnes.
She was also confirmed to be starring as twins Lo and Li in the second season of ‘The Last Airbender’ on Netflix.
