Ticking off another goal from his bucket list.

Ticking off another goal from his bucket list.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 30, Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards gave his 4.5 million followers a peek into his latest endeavor.

The 33-year-old has formally enrolled himself in an aviation school in Pampanga, where he is now a pilot trainee.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas on GMA’s flagship newscast ’24 Oras,’ Alden shared how he decided to take the path to becoming a pilot.

I’ve always been so curious paano lumilipad ang ganung kalaki at kabigat na sasakyang pang-himpapawid. Tapos of course how it is being navigated sa langit, ganyan, from point A to point B, paano nakakarating, paano nagte-takeoff,” Alden expressed his fascination.

He also shared that this move is actually a fulfillment of his father’s dream of becoming a pilot in the past, adding that he also did the same for his mother who wanted to enter showbusiness.

Since nagkaroon ako ng isip sa mundo parang meron akong core objective to fulfill my parents’ dreams na hindi nila natupad in their lifetime,” he told.

In a prior interview in April, when he first revealed plans to enroll, Alden also shared that he aims to become a pilot for the Philippine Air Force Reserve.

Entering aviation school is yet another undertaking for the in-demand TV and movie star.

He is currently presenting the weekly dance competition program ‘Stars On The Floor’ on GMA, his film projects such as ‘Mak-mak,’ the Philippine adaptation of ‘Pee Mak,’ with Julia Barretto, and his businesses.

Alden is also currently actively doing biking and running, and even hosted a fun run event back in May.
