The artists are now parents to their first child.
In an Instagram post last June 26, actor Cedrick Juan shared a beautiful news to his over 83,000 followers in the platform.
The 35-year-old actor has already welcomed his first son with actress Kate Alejandrino, whom he was seen carrying in the photo.
He wrote, “Unang iyak mo pa lang namangha na ako sa tinig mo. Maraming nangyayari sa paligid pero nakatitig lang ako sayo. Puno ng galak ang puso at kaluluwa dahil sa wakas ay mahahawakan, mahahalikan, mayayakap at mabubuhat ka na namin anak.”
The parents of the newborn also promised to “relearn life” with the child, where he also revealed the baby boy’s name to be Jose Rocio Likha Alejandrino Juan.
Cedrick also dedicated a portion of his post to his wife Kate, telling her, “At para sa aking katuwang sa buhay [Kate], Mahal, salamat sa araw-araw na pagsasama. Sa mga bagong aral at pagbabago na nararapat na matutunan para sa mas makabuluhan at makulay pa na kasalukuyan para sa ating pamilya.”
“Sobrang bilib ako sa tapang at lakas mo para makayanan ang siyam na buwan na pagbubuntis at pagluwal sa ating anak. Iba kayong mga babae at mga ina, hindi sapat ang mga salita kung gaano kita/kayo hinahangaan,” the actor continued.
Lastly, he told Kate and baby Jose, “Mahal na mahal ko kayo! Tara pagtrabahuhan natin ang mga pangarap ng magkakasama.”
It was last January when Cedrick and Kate went public about their romance on social media, which they first teased back in October 2024.
A month later, in February, the two stunned the public with the announcement of their engagement.
That same month, the two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by their family and friends like Dolly de Leon, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, Jojit Lorenzo, and director Pepe Diokno.
Cedrick Juan is known for his portrayal of Padre Jose Burgos in the movie ‘GomBurZa’ and is currently seen on television via the late-morning drama series ‘Ang Himala Ni Niño.’
Meanwhile, Kate Alejandrino has been part of multiple television series and movies, such as ‘Ten Little Mistresses,’ ‘Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,’ and most recently, ‘Lavender Fields.’
