A showbiz comeback could be in the pipeline for him soon.
In a post on his official Facebook page, TV host Luis Manzano encouraged his followers to answer his simple poll with a hint of a potential return to screens.
In the question, Manzano listed three of his previous game shows that were produced and aired by ABS-CBN.
He asked, “Ano mas trip ninyo bumalik? Rainbow Rumble, Deal or No Deal ,or Minute to Win It?“, with a smiley face at the end.
The post immediately drew comments from his supporters, who opted to choose one among the three, while others have also campaigned for all the shows to make their respective comebacks.
On Instagram, Luis’ family and friends also weighed in, with his wife Jessy Mendiola and his friend Melai Cantiveros going for ‘Rainbow Rumble,’ while Robi Domingo added another option with ‘It’s Your Lucky Day‘.
The poll comes a few days after an actual one in the province of Batangas, where Luis Manzano ran for vice governor—alongside his mother Vilma Santos, who went for the governor seat, and half-brother Ryan Recto, who raced for the Congressional seat in the 6th district.
In the end, both Vilma and Ryan were able to secure seats, while Luis was defeated by outgoing Governor, Dodo Mandanas.
Clearly, politics is no stranger to Luis, because even his father, TV presenter and actor Edu Manzano, served the public as the Vice Mayor of Makati from 1998 to 2001 and ran for Vice President in 2010.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN has not yet confirmed any comeback plans for Luis, although he had signed a contract with the Kapamilya network prior to the launch of ‘Rainbow Rumble‘ in 2024.
