Good news for fans of the hit online series.
During the first night of its ‘Section E Nation‘ fan event at the New Frontier Theater on Thursday, May 1, lead stars Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach officially revealed an upcoming development regarding the program.
But prior to that, a reel was first played featuring the scenes of ‘AshDres‘ in ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E,’ driving the kilig inside the theater.
But in a stunning twist to the videotape, Studio Viva and streaming platform Viva One jointly shared that more ‘AMNSE‘ drama will continue to unfold with its forthcoming second season.
During which, the viral Cup of Joe song ‘Multo‘ was also heard as a background track in the shory teaser.
However, things and events in the series are expected to take a dark turn as the Book 2 of ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E‘ has been given the subtitle ‘The Dark Side‘.
The official premiere date has not yet been disclosed, but the series is set to stream soon on Viva One.
‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E‘ is the live action adaptation of the Wattpad novel created by Lara Flores and began streaming exclusively on the Viva One app beginning last January 2025, to much fanfare.
Aside from Ashtine and Andres, also part of the 16-episode series Rabin Angeles, along with the entire gang, which include the likes of André Yllana, Ethan David, Charles Law, Derick Ong, Michael Keith, AJ Ferrer, Daniel Ong, Frost Sandoval, Keagan De Jesus, Kurt Delos Reyes, Kyosu Guinto, Martin Venegas, Nic Galvez, Sam Shoaf, Yanyan De Jesus, and Heart Ryan.
‘AMNSE‘ also gained following overseas, with fans of the show from countries like Vietnam, Nepal, and Malaysia coming forward to express their vocal support to the show and its cast.
