The following local government unit of cities, municipalities, or provinces, and schools in the Philippines have declared the outright cancelation of classes or the suspension of in-person classes, in favor of alternative learning modalities, on Monday, March 24, 2025.
For no face-to-face classes pronouncements, these drclarations mean that learning facilities will continue to deliver their services through other methods, such as online and/or asynchronous classes.

It was last Wednesday, March 19, when Manibela Chairman Mar Valbuena announced that his group is planning to stage a three-day nationwide transport strike from Monday, March 24 to Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
According to him, this is in protest of the alleged false numbers in the number of consolidated units under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
In response, the Department of Transportation shared that it “hopes that instead of a transport strike, we sit down for a dialogue to work together to keep commuters safe and comfortable while ensuring that the welfare of our drivers and operators are protected.“
