A new look morning and afternoon grids greeted Kapatid viewers.
On Monday, March 24, free-to-air station TV5 introduced its new programming line-up in the daytime block.
Mornings saw a shortened TV5 Kids, which is now down to just two shows in Moonbug’s ‘Cocomelon‘ and the Tagalized ‘Spongebob Squarepants,’ airing within 45-minute-long stretch from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.
Following those, ‘Cine Cinco Sa Umaga‘ was moved to its earlier slot and cut down to 90 minutes.
These were done to accommodate tabloid talk show ‘Face To Face: Harapan,’ hosted by Korina Sanchez-Roxas, that has been moved back to its traditional morning time slot at 10:15 am.
Keeping their respective times were succeeding shows from ‘Ang Himala Ni Niño‘ until the the rerun of ‘MariMar‘ in the afternoon block.
After all that, the rebroadcast of 2011 TV5 original series ‘Glamorosa,’ which airs on the slightly later time of 3:45 pm, serves as the third show of the ‘Hapon Champion‘ block after ‘Eat Bulaga.’
At 4:15 pm, the new alternative drama line-up of the Kapatid network is completed by the newly-added Korean series ‘Mr. Queen,’ which was first screened in the Philippines via rival GMA Network in 2022.
This minor tweaking of the TV5’s weekday daytime offerings follows the a similar change in the network’s weekend block last February.
