He is also set to make his official solo debut soon.
On Wednesday, March 19, Mark of the all-male Korean pop group NCT dropped the pre-album release single titled ‘+82 Pressin.’
Featured artist for the new song is his bandmate and co-member in the sub-units 127 and Dream, Haechan.
The said track is part of Mark’s upcoming solo debut albim ‘The Firstfruit,’ which will drop on April 7, 2025, according to his parent label SM Entertainment.
As of writing, the music video for ‘+82 Pressin’ has amassed over 1.5 million views on YouTube, over 24 hours since it was uploaded on Wednesday evening (Korean time).
Mark and Haechan made their debut as members of NCT in 2016, eventually becoming part of the line-up for the group’s sub-units NCT 127 and NCT DREAM.
127 is known for their songs like ‘Cherry Bomb,’ ‘Touch,’ ‘Kick It,’ ‘Sticker,’ and ‘Favorite (Vampire),’ among others. The sub-unit also recently released their sixrh album ‘Walk’ in July.
Meanwhile, Dream has released multiple hit tracks in the past eight years, starting with ‘Chewing Gum,’ followed by the likes of ‘My First and Last,’ ‘We Go Up,’ ‘BOOM,’ ‘Ridin’,’ ‘Hot Sauce,’ ‘Hello Future,’ and ‘Beatbox.’
Meanwhile, Mark has also ventured into other projects, such as the K-pop male supergroup SuperM in 2019, which also include SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Kai and Baekhyun, fellow NCT bandmates Taeyong and Ten, and now-soloist Lucas.
The band is known for their singles ‘Jopping,’ ‘100,’ and ‘Tiger Inside.’
Last December, Mark collaborated with rapper Lee Young Ji for the song ‘Fraktisya.’
