As the country continues to experience scorching heat since the start of the week.

Due to high heat index forecasts on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the local government units in the following cities, municipalities, or provinces in the Philippines have declared the suspension of face-to-face or in-person classes.

These pronouncements mean that learning facilities will continue to deliver their services through other methods, such as online and/or asynchronous classes.

  • Pasay City (no face-to-face classes at ALL LEVELS, public and private) until March 6, 2025

  • San Jose del Monte, Bulacan (no face-to-face classes from KINDERGARTEN TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, public and private)
  • REGION IV-A (CALABARZON)
  • Cavite province (no classes at ALL LEVELS, public and private)
