This marks their first on-screen team-up.
In an announcement, streaming platform Netflix disclosed the upcoming drama series topbilled by Blackpink member Jisoo and actor Seo In Guk.
Titled ‘Boyfriend On Demand,’ Jisoo will take on the role of Seo Mi Rae, a webtoon producer, while In Guk has been casted for the role of her chief rival, Park Gyeong Nam.
Netflix has not yet stated when the show woulf exactly air, but has teased its arrival on the platform “soon.”
‘Boyfriend On Demand’ will mark Jisoo’s next acting project after ‘Newtopia’ on Prime Video, which made its premiere last February 7.
Also this month, on February 14, she released her solo comeback ‘Amortage,’ which featured the single ‘Earthquake.’
Meanwhile, Seo In Guk is also part of the upcoming series ‘Twelve,’ and was recently appointed by the Philippines’ Department of Tourism as the country’s travel ambassador to South Korea.
