An amusing and memorable way to celebrate another life milestone.
On Saturday, February 22, host Anne Curtis made her return to ABS-CBN noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ after over a month.
During the opening spiels, Curtis shared her birthday wish and that is for the people dear to her to “stay healthy and happy.“
Anne was then greeted by her fellow hosts, with Jugs Jugueta rooting for the accomplishments of her plans she laid out upon turning 40, while Teddy Corpuz hoped for her to have more bonding moments with husband, Erwan Heussaff, and their soon-to-be five-year-old daughter, Dahlia.
Ryan Bang, meanwhile, said that he looks forward for Anne to bond more often with the ‘Showtime’ family. Safety is what Ion Perez wants for Curtis, noting that the actress-host got wounded during the filming of her upcoming project.
As for Ogie Alcasid, he shared that he desires peace for Anne’s heart and life. After which, Kim Chiu congratulated her fellow ‘Showtime’ host for her successes.
Jhong Hilario wishes that Anne continues to inspire more people, with Vhong Navarro hoping the best for her forthcoming projects and her return to her regular duties on ‘It’s Showtime,’ adding that she has been missed by the madlang people and the whole team in recent months.
Vice Ganda echoed Ogie’s message, wishing Anne’s peace of mind and heart, before eventually revealing to her a surprise treat of the program in celebration of her recent 40th birthday last Monday, February 17.
For her production number this year, Anne was shocked to know that she would be performing a number that had been prepared for her.
During the segment, she sang her favorite songs like ‘Girls Wanna Have Fun,’ ‘Alone,’ and ‘Walking On Sunshine’.
Some of the projects lined-up for Anne include her upcoming film comeback under the direction of Erik Matti and the Philippine adaptation of ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,’ which is slated for broadcast in 2025.
