The star’s agency has responded to the social media posts made by the K-pop star.
In a statement on Thursday, February 20, MYM Entertainment, the home of Korean actor Lee Minho, debunked the rumors of his romantic link with 2NE1 member Park Bom.
“He is not personally acquainted with Park Bom, so these [rumors] are baseless,” MYM said.
This pronouncement comes after Park made numerous posts on her personal Instagram page, which alluded to Lee as her “husband” since September 2024.
Although, back then, Bom’s agency shared that it might have been caused by her admiration of Minho’s work.
But in recent weeks, the issue came into light again, as the K-pop singer posted some photos, where the actor was edited into, in her account. While these have been removed, Bom insisted that her being in a relationship with Minho is “true,” leaving fans confused.
Since the controversy, Bom had been called out by a fan base of 2NE1, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union, who demanded for her exclusion from the team’s ongoing reunion activities.
Park has yet to issue a formal statement as of writing.
Lee Min Ho gained massive popularity in the Philippines back in 2009, when the Korean adaptation of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ hit local airwaves. Lee played the male lead Go Jun Pyo in the series.
He is scheduled to make his return to Manila via his ‘Minhoverse’ fanmeet in April 2025.
Meanwhile, Bom, along with fellow 2NE1 members Dara, CL, and Minzy, were in the Philippines last November for their ‘Welcome Back’ reunion concert in celebration of their 15th anniversary.
