The full story of 2024’s top-trending digital melodrama is set to hit TV screens soon.
On Monday, February 10, Dreamscape Entertainment released the full trailer for ‘Saving Grace: The Untold Story,’ the teleserye version of the Prime Video drama starring Julia Montes, Sharon Cuneta, and new child star Zia Grace.
According to the ABS-CBN Studios production unit, the show will be seen on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 from Monday, March 3 at 9:30 pm.
‘Saving Grace’ is the 10th adaptation of the Japanese series ‘Mother,’ which was first broadcast by Nippon TV in April 2010 and starred Yasuko Mastuyuki.
Since its release almost 15 years ago, ‘Mother’ has been localized in nine (9) other countries, including South Korea, China, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, France, and Spain.
It is also the fourth ABS-CBN production to premiere first or exclusively on the platform, following Arjo Atayde’s ‘Cattleya Killer,’ and Kim Chiu’s ‘Fit Check: Confessions Of An Ukay Queen,’ and ‘Linlang,’ which also had its own teleserye version aired from January to June 2024.
‘Saving Grace’ also marks both the small-screen comeback and reunion of Julia Montes and Sharon Cuneta, following their respective stints as Mara and Aurora in the Philippines’ longest-running primetime action drama ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ in 2021.
Joining them in the cast of the drama are Janice de Belen, Sam Milby, Elisse Joson, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, Eric Fructoso, Mary Joy Apostol, and Aya Fernandez, among many others.
It is under the direction of FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu.
